The leading new generation exponent of the intricate art of Bharatanatyam, Smt Rasika Mohan, gave an enchanting performance at the Guru Nanak Dev Bhawan, Ludhiana.
Having received her instructions from some of the most eminent Gurus of Bharatanatyam, like Smt Balasaraswathi, Smt Lalitha Shastri, Sri Adyar Lakshman, Smt Kalanidhi Narayan and presently from Sri Nana Kasar, Rasika has performed extensively and incessantly on some of the most prestigious dance platforms in India. She has also performed in Europe, in North America and in Pakistan. She has tried to bring together people of different cultural backgrounds through the beauty, the rhythm and the depth, of what is perhaps the oldest of the contemporary dance forms in India.
Rasika is presently settled in New Delhi and continues to enthrall audiences with her graceful and proficient performances. Spice Communications Limited sponsored the Bharatanatyam recital held under the auspices of Ludhiana Sanskritik Samagam.
