| The concept is that entire music comprises of Sur and Laya, this programme for first time ever in the history of Indian Music, we presented Raagas on Tabla, which complimented the basic nature of Tabla without any support of electronic sound. To compliment this festivitiy of music and rich tradition of various Colours of Semi Classical folk and film, by Padmashri Malini Awasthi. Electrifying live performance by Malini Awasti, needs no introduction, she is India’s “Reshma” You have seen her singing in many movies like Bumm Bumm Bhole, Agent Vinod, Dum Laga Ke Haisha etc.. She is duo of Indian folk and belongs to distinguish family and art combination of brain, beauty and music. She is wife of very senior IAS officer of the country but she has never use that influence to progress her career. She sings in Hindi language dialects like Awadhi, Bundelkhandi and Bhojpuri. She also presents in Thumri and Kafiri. The Government of India awarded her the civilian honour of the Padma Shri in 2016. |
